Forethought on Easter

Easter is the season of renewal. This special day reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice made to save us from the sins of this world. But this should not be the only day we show our gratefulness for this sacrifice. As Good Friday and Easter approaches, we begin to think about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We celebrate the Resurrection because it represents Christ’s victory over the grave, the final sacrifice of the Perfect Lamb for the sins of man to be forgiven and the promise of eternal life.

Whether you’re spending time with family and friends or worshiping in church (or both), be sure to take some time to embrace the reason for the season. To spiritually go into a sacred place in our hearts and minds to reflect on this very special time.
